Last Wednesday (November 3, 2010), in the darkness of the morning (like 2 a.m.), I heard Leslie fussing. I got up and tried to stick the pacifier in her mouth to get her to go back to sleep. I've probably done this a million times since she was born but this time I couldn't find her mouth. She's always a tummy sleeper so I always try to find her mouth on either side of her head, figuring she's got her head turned to the side. This time as I went from one side to the other I got wetness on my hand when it passed to where the back of her head "should" be. Nope, it was her mouth. In my sleepiness I flipped her over and stuck her plug in, then went back to sleep. During her nap that day she started screaming and screaming. I thought she was just being ornery so I let her scream a minute to see if she'd settle herself down. She didn't so I went in there and guess what! Leslie was on her back again. Then Wednesday night/Thursday morning, she did it again. She's done it several times since then but only when she's in her bed - including this morning at 6:45. I don't know if she uses the sides of the bed to help her (I kind of don't think so) or if she's just too mad when we put her on the floor and tell her to perform her new trick that she won't do it.
Here are pictures of us trying to get her to perform her new trick. I'll post real ones (and a video) if she ever decides to let us in on her little secret.

That little stinker! You know they never do tricks for the camera.
Cute! She will be crawling before you know it.
She is so funny! Sometimes a baby video monitor would be really fun, just to see what the baby is up to when you're not around. Ada hid her talents from the world too, except from me. Everyone thought I was telling tall tales.
You're name if falling farther down on the list! LOL! How are you? How was Thanksgiving?
(P.S. LOL! the word verifaction is momentef. Sounds all important & stuff!)
